Editorial policy
How we create warm, original wellbeing content without confusing it with medical or psychological care.
Purpose
SOFTSPOKEN begins with the moments women actually live: lying awake while everyone else sleeps, feeling guilty for wanting space, or looking capable while quietly feeling overwhelmed. We turn those moments into guided audio and general wellbeing education for women over 40.
Authorship and originality
Alina writes from lived experience, in the language she would use with another woman—not in borrowed therapy language or impersonal textbook phrases. Each guide identifies its author and publication or review date. Audio scripts, transcripts and the Softspoken Evening State Map are original SOFTSPOKEN works unless clearly stated otherwise.
Sources
When an article discusses menopause, sleep, anxiety or another health-adjacent subject, we prioritize established public-health bodies, professional medical organizations and peer-reviewed research. Sources are linked visibly at the end of the article.
Medical boundaries
Feeling understood is not the same as receiving medical care. We do not diagnose, prescribe or claim to treat a condition. We distinguish Alina's lived experience and general wellbeing suggestions from medical facts. Readers are encouraged to seek qualified support for persistent, severe or concerning symptoms.
Reviews and corrections
Articles show their most recent review date. Material corrections should be reflected in the page and its modified date. As SOFTSPOKEN grows, medical-adjacent content will be reviewed by appropriately qualified professionals whose names and credentials will be disclosed on the relevant page.
Commercial independence
SOFTSPOKEN sells its own original audio experiences. Product invitations are separated from factual explanations, and purchasing does not influence how sources are represented.
AI use
Technology may assist with research organization, transcription, accessibility and editing. Alina remains responsible for the final words, point of view and recorded voice. We do not present synthetic writing or narration as personal human experience.
Questions or correction requests can be submitted through the contact method published with the completed SOFTSPOKEN checkout and customer-support service.
